ok. so i'm retarded and accidentally closed the window of the last post. work lost. oh well. more briefly, i saw damien jurado and the frontman for local act palomino at velour. entertaining on both accounts. beanie-clad palomino guy was fun. entertaining, great set of lungs on him. damien jurado of seattle is at the tail end of his tour. accompaning him is a pigtailed cellist and an expressionless adrian brody look alike on the drums, guitar and keys. damien had a comfortable, seasoned veteran feel to him on stage. cracking jokes. but not even really trying to be funny. just was.
